Analisis Determinan Intensitas Energi Di Indonesia Tahun 2000-2020

Intensitas energi dapat dikurangi dengan meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis intensitas energi di Indonesia periode 2000-2020. Ini menyelidiki dampak PDB riil per kapita, harga energi, keterbukaan perdagangan, dan investasi asing langsung terhadap intensitas energi selama periode 2000-2020. Analisis VAR/VECM digunakan untuk menentukan bagaimana variabel ekonomi mempengaruhi intensitas agregat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa GDP riil per kapita dan keterbukaan perdagangan berpengaruh negatif terhadap intensitas energi, sedangkan harga energi dan investasi asing langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap intensitas energi. Dengan demikian, studi tersebut menyarankan agar Pemerintah Indonesia mempertimbangkan pengurangan konsumsi energi pada sumber energi tak terbarukan dengan berinvestasi pada sumber energi terbarukan. Selain itu, dengan memahami faktor penentu intensitas energi, pemerintah harus membuat kerangka kebijakan energi untuk mengurangi intensitas karbon sektor dan meningkatkan efisiensi energi.
